1         Use of the Website

1.1             Welcome to The Nab Lab Ltd (‘The Nab Lab’ or ‘Nab lab’ or ‘Gin School’) website (the ‘Site). By using the website, You (‘the user’) agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of The Nab Lab website and its related channels. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms, please do not access and/or use The Nab Lab website.

1.2             This website is operated for the purpose of booking experiences, promoting and selling alcoholic beverages.

1.3             The Nab Lab Ltd may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made. Your continued use of The Nab Lab after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.

1.4             By accessing the website, you shall be:

1.4.1            Of legal age for purchasing and consuming alcoholic beverages in accordance with the regulations of your country of residence.

1.4.2            In a country which permits the promotion and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

1.4.3            Aware of how to consume alcohol responsibly.

1.4.4            By placing an order through our website, you warrant that the recipient of the order is of lawful age. If you are buying Products as a gift, the recipient must also be of a lawful age. This is the responsibility of the purchaser.

1.4.5            Aware that you are purchasing alcohol and any order placed is an acceptance of our terms to take full responsibility for whoever accepts the delivery at provided delivery address.

1.4.6            Aware that once you book the experiences are non refundable, but if you give 7 days notice we can try and accommodate another date that suits you/your party

1.4.7            You are making your own bespoke gin and if you do not like the taste of the gin, there is no refund available, as you choose the botanicals and are guided by your host.

1.5             If you do not wish to be bound by the terms and conditions detailed, you should not use The Nab Lab Site.

2         Age Limit

2.1             The Nab Lab is fully licensed and by entering the Site you confirm that you are above the legal drinking age in your country of residence.

2.2             The Nab Lab requires that customers agree to supply proof of age on request – challenge 25.

2.3             If hiring the venue for events that host under 18 years of age attendees, there will be no alcohol served, made or provided.

3         User Behaviour

You, the user, should make use of the Site in accordance with the following conditions:

3.1             You may not in any way, shape or form act on behalf of The Nab Lab or affiliated groups/ individuals.

3.2             You will not copy, download, reproduce, republish, frame, broadcast, transmit in any manner whatsoever, any material on the Site except as is strictly necessary for your own personal, non-commercial, home use unless otherwise agreed in writing with The Nab Lab.

3.3              You will not express opinions on the Site or related channels that are crude, racist, sexist, vulgar or otherwise offensive.

3.4             When participating in competitions or promotions from the Site or related channels you will ensure to abide by any specific rules set.

3.5             You will refrain from infringing or disrupting the Site from functioning, exposing it to viruses or spams, breaching security or conducting any illegal activity which is likely to violate the rights The Nab Lab.

3.6             You will refrain from sending content from the Site to persons under the legal alcohol consumption/purchasing age.

3.7             Where relevant, we reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor use of the Site and to remove any content which, in our sole discretion, may be offensive, illegal or otherwise questionable in any way or in breach of the terms and conditions.

4         Disclaimer

4.1             The information contained on the Site may include views and opinions which, unless expressly states otherwise, are not those of The Nab Lab.

4.2             Users should access The Nab Lab Site at their own risk.

5         Liability/Warranty

Whilst we aim to ensure that the content on the Site is correct The Nab Lab cannot give any warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the Site. Nor can The Nab Lab guarantee that the Site will operate error-free, uninterrupted or free from any so-called computer viruses. The Site and its content are provided ‘as is’. The Nab Lab do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage You may encounter as a consequence of placing trust in the information found on the Site. Appropriate research should be taken by the user before placing reliance upon the content found on the Site. Any reliance placed on information found on the Site should be done at the users own risk.

6         Third Party Sites

The Nab Lab have no control of, accept no responsibility for and do not endorse any content found within third party sites which may be linked to The Nab Lab Site. Links to these sites are to ease access for the user. Any reliance placed on information found on third party sites should be done at the user’s own risk.

7         Our Right to Refuse Delivery

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of any personalised Product(s) ordered by you in the event that there is any profanity which includes but is not limited to any obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory or sexually explicit language.

8         Returns and Refunds

8.1             Refunds on experiences are not possible, once booked and paid, if for any reason you cannot make the session and we are aware 7 days prior we can attempt to reschedule to another date, later in the year.

8.2             As per the sale of goods act – all alcohol bought on our website can be refunded if it has not been opened and is in the exact same condition it was sold in and within 14 days

8.3             You cannot receive refunds on gift vouchers

8.4             If for any unexpected reason we cannot run a class w(e will try everything in our power to make sure they all go ahead) we will re contact you in advance to re schedule

9         Privacy

By providing personal information to The Nab Lab you consent to this information being used for purposes detailed in the Privacy Policy of the Site. Where possible, we shall comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation. If at any time your details change, or you would like us to cease from using your information for the purposes mentioned in the Privacy Policy please contact us at hello@thenablab.co.uk.

10   Special Offer Codes

10.1          Customers may only redeem offer codes for one transaction.

10.2         Offer codes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

10.3         All offers are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping charges.

11   Gin School T&C's

General Terms & Conditions – Gin School Experiences at The Nab Lab

11.1         Arrival time

You must arrive at the Gin School at least ten minutes before the start of your Experience. Late arrivals may be refused entry to the experience and/ or Gin School without compensation or refund.  We also have residents living near by, so we ask you to leave quietly and respect the village residents.

 

11.2         Age-restrictions

Under 18s are not permitted at The Nab Lab on any of the gin making experiences. You may be subject to an age check on arrival at The Nab Lab, so you should bring photo identification (“ID”). If we believe or suspect a guest who wishes to consume or purchase alcohol is under the legal drinking age, that guest will be asked to produce photo ID. In the event that you are unable to produce valid photo ID, we reserve the right to refuse you entry, or ask you to leave The Nab Lab and we regret that no refunds can be given.  Private Hire allows under 18s in the venue, but no alcohol will be served, made or provided.

 

11.3         Cancellations

Our bookings are non-refundable. However, if you notify us of a cancellation more than 7 days in advance of your Visit Date, we will, at our sole discretion, do our best to reschedule it to another date and time.

 

11.4         Prices

Prices may be subject to change; however, all pre-booked experiences will be honoured at the rate applied at the time of purchase.

 

11.5         Licensing

11.5.1        As a licensed premise, we retain the right at our discretion to refuse entry or remove you/ any visitor from the Gin School.

11.5.2        We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to refuse entry into or remove any person. This includes but is not limited to a person who has behaved in a manner which, in our opinion;

·         has, or is likely to, adversely the safety or enjoyment of other visitors; or

·         has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards staff or other visitors; or

·         is or appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

11.5.3        We operate a 'Challenge 25' policy therefore we may ask to see a form of suitable ID if any visitor looks under the age of 25.

 

11.6         Accessibility

Disabled visitors requiring special assistance, may be accompanied by one Carer free-of-charge. The Carer’s ticket must be arranged at the time of booking. Proof of entitlement, such as a plus one card, should be shown on arrival at the Gin School.

 

11.7         General

11.7.1        You are making your own bespoke gin and if you do not like the taste of the gin, there is no refund available, as you choose the botanicals and are guided by your host.

11.7.2        Pets and animals are not permitted inside the Gin School building with the exception of assistance dogs. Proof of registration must be provided on request. Assistance dogs in training are not permitted.

11.7.3        Smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside and outside within the confines of the Gin School site.

11.7.4        Your use of our website is governed by the Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which can be found here and which are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions

11.7.5        Each paragraph of these Terms and Conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

 

11.8         Liability

Our total liability to you shall be limited to the ticket price paid to us. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any liability which cannot legally be limited.

 

11.9         Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under the Contract that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control.

 

11.10     Definitions

11.10.1    Carer: means a person who accompanies a disabled person for the purpose of providing them necessary support and assistance with the accessibility to the Gin School.

11.10.2    Gin School: means The Nab Lab [The Nab Lab, 35b King Street, Whalley, BB79SP] as specified on your booking confirmation

11.10.3    Experience: means a tour of the Gin School which may include the supply of alcohol to over 18s only, or such other experiences as are made available on our website from time to time;

11.10.4    Visit Date: means the date on which you are due to attend the Gin School as specified on your booking confirmation

11.10.5    We: means The Nab Lab Limited (company number: #####) having its registered address at 6 Sandringham Close, Whalley, BB7 9JP.

13   Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England.

14   Cookies

The Nab Lab site uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of The Nab Lab website, and their website access preferences.
