Progress …..

This week we have been super busy, the website is launching on Friday and we are extremely excited ! The interior of the Gin School is coming on nicely and we are hoping to open for some “open events” in early August, so watch this space.  The interior of the shop is larger than it seems from outside, but the layout we are creating, is a large space with three tables, where customers will sit and choose their botanicals and around the outside of the room is where the distils will be, and customers will use these to make their own bespoke Gin.  We have a we on site, and I am creating a lush green interior for this.  The main room will be in the other brand colours of Swiss and Sage Green.  We have built a small kitchen/back of house area and that too will be in our brand colours of a dusky oink and sage green…..

There is a lot to do and I have pulled in all the help and support I can get at this stage ! My dad has been painting there this week and this weekend we have friends and family coming down to help too ! It’s all hands on deck so we can open up to the public and you can come and see what we are all about, buy some gin, buy some gin related products and book onto our Gin making courses…..

I cannot believe that this all started with a breast cancer workshop, back in oct last year,  we are almost there and I am immensely proud.

A huge shoutout to the amazing tradesmen that have been working for us - Ribble Valley renovations, Theo and his team.  My brother who has built the shelves for the stills and the Kitchen.  My husband who has been an absolute genius on coding for the website and making sure we give our customers a premium experience when booking on to a Gin course - we've been up every night for 3 weeks - until midnight - working on the booking system and the e mail confirmations, gift vouchers, the instructions ... the list is almost endless, but we think we have got there.  My parents who have supported with time, childcare and finances ! My in laws who have supported with childcare, my web design - who I cannot recommend enough, Emma is amazing - her company The stories We tell is so professional and she has created my vision.  the illustrations/branding and design ladies - Suzanne, Charlotte and Louise - who have all helped my brand come alive !  My landlord - who made this a reality, My license manager - who helped me navigate the licensing application and appeal process.  Peter Hitchens for designing a super commercial building, that is very in keeping with the village !  I really hope I have mentioned everyone !  If I haven’t I am sorry …. But, I am thankful !

Here’s a few pics of what’s been happening at the Nab lab Lately, and the progress we are making.
